Instructions: To get started, heat the Aebleskiver pan on medium heat. Grease each cup with a little butter, oil, or spray vegetable oil. Fill each cup 2/3 full and cook for approximately 1 to 1 ½ minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Use a toothpick to flip the Aebleskiver. Once they're done, serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar for the best flavor. For an extra twist, you can fill each cup only 1/3 full with batter, add a small amount of fruit, and cover with an additional 1/3 of batter.

Cast Iron Care: Before using your new pan, be sure to wash it using hot, soapy water. To season the cast iron pan, coat the inside surface up to the rim with vegetable oil (peanut, grapeseed, or canola) and place the oiled pan upside down on a baking sheet. Bake the oiled pan in the oven for approximately one hour at 350°F / 175°C. Once it has cooled down, wipe off any excess oil and it will be ready to use. To clean, use very hot water and a scrubbing brush, then dry. If you use soap, you will need to re-season the pan after washing it. For storage, spread a light coating of oil on the inside surface of the pan.
